What do we objectively stand for when we continue to allow disturbing patterns to repeat without changing the rules and conditions that facilitate them?
The result is repeated shocking news that brings emotional upheaval, inaction due to entrenched interests, and then silence until the next round is fired.
Are we so blinded by our own individual needs and fears that we can’t see how our inaction affects us all as a community?
The United States prides itself on being #1… Maintaining a competitive advantage requires preparation. All communities evolve, improve, and raise their standard of living only through education.
As a culture, what are we denying ourselves by not initiating transformation in how safety is controlled, secured, and provided for our own future in the places where education happens?
