Innovating
As the third child of six, the second girl of five, who grew up in a developing country with a clear hierarchical, patriarchal, and racist society, I was trained from the start to serve others regardless of whether it served me, whether it was appropriate for me or whether I was available at the time. My joy, desires or needs were never recognized, in the decision making mix, let alone the priority of the moment.
It’s taken a long time to recognize how much this conditioning has stayed with me. I’d always been willing to lend a hand regardless of whether there was appreciation, approval, or appropriate compensation on the other side of the exchange.
Today something I couldn’t see before became clear to me during an equal energetic exchange with a beautiful, caring and well prepared soulful professional.

Are there storylines about yourself that you’re ready to innovate?
