About Me & This Space

Dear reader,

I’m excited, joyous, and grateful to share that I’ve written, published, and emailed daily posts for a continuous 128 days!

I’m fully enjoying the exploration this daily writing process has allowed me.

I’m settling into a deep personal trust. I can count on my self.

My sense is I’ll continue writing daily, until I don’t.

Therefore it’s time to clarify expectations.

If you’re reading this now, you might be seeing it inside the gated Akimbo platform under the “Writing in Community’’ paid program. The following does not apply to you as we follow the rules of engagement agreed upon when we joined the WIC community.

If you’re reading this on your personal email (which you signed up to receive), on my website, or directly on the Substack platform which is open to the public, the following APPLIES to you!

“Iczel’s Reflections” is a “free” daily email you receive where you pay with your time, and attention. This is NOT a one to one communication.

Others who are interested, curious, or wondering also receive this exact same email. This is a one to many communication.

My desire is you find these posts valuable. By sharing my unique perspective, a question, an entertaining moment, an emotion, an insight, or a memory might be triggered in you.

This is NOT the space where I coach, teach, or mentor.

Although I am educated, certified and qualified to do all three, I’m currently undergoing an objective reassessment of how to do so in a way that honors my gifts, and the gifts of those whom I’m here to commune with. Once the correct timing arrives, I will announce the opportunity to work with me here.

In this space, I share my own reflections on a range of topics, in an inconsistent style through my own unique perspective.

I will read what you shared if you choose to comment. Don’t expect your public comment to be confidential.

Are you expecting a personal reply?

I might reply to the comment you’ve shared, or not. Don’t expect it.
No pressure. I get to choose how to use my own resources, time, and energy.

If I judge a comment to be inappropriate (my community, my judgement), I will delete the comment.
